Challenge

Throughout the judiciary, there has been concern about public perception of the courts.

Process

The National Judicial College trains judges nationally and internationally in all facets of judicial education. The college approached Al Rothstein Media Services, Inc. after participating judges expressed an interest in hands-on media relations skill development as part of its public perception training.

Results

Judges from all over the world are now handling media encounters with more confidence and skill. Al Rothstein has become a regular faculty member of the college.

Note: Al Rothstein Media Services, Inc. has also served the National Center for State Courts in its Public Perception of the Courts Campaign, with media relations training and panel discussion participation.
